Samantha Phillips

Samantha Phillips, PHR has over 15 years of diverse work experience. Samantha is currently working as the Director of People and Culture at the DreamYard Project since 2023. Prior to this, from 2015 to 2023, they held various roles at Color Of Change, including Senior Director of Talent & Leadership Development, Director of Talent & Recruitment, Talent & HR Manager, and Operations Manager. Samantha also worked at Studio in a School as an Early Childhood Program Coordinator from 2013 to 2015. Earlier in their career, they worked at Brooklyn Laundry Social Club as a Field Researcher and Events Coordinator from 2012 to 2014, at UNICEF as an Executive Assistant from 2008 to 2012, and at Volunteers of America as a Case Manager in 2006.

Samantha Phillips, PHR, received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology from Temple University in 2005. In October 2019, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). Samantha also obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI in the same month and year.
