Ashley Sawaf, CCRP

Ashley Sawaf has a diverse work experience in the clinical research field spanning over 15 years. Their most recent role is as a Senior Manager for TMF Operations at Dren Bio, Inc. starting in April 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Allakos Inc., where they held several positions including Senior Manager of Clinical Documentation from July 2021 to February 2023, Manager of Clinical Documentation from January 2020 to July 2021, and Clinical Documentation Manager from July 2017 to January 2020.

Before joining Allakos Inc., Ashley worked at ZS Pharma, Inc. as a Manager of eTMF System Administration from January 2016 to May 2017 and as a Clinical Study Documentation Specialist from March 2014 to January 2016. Ashley also gained experience at Covance as a Clinical Research Coordinator from February 2013 to March 2014, and at PAREXEL as a Clinical Trial Specialist II from May 2012 to September 2012.

Ashley started their career at Alcon Laboratories, Inc. as a Clinical Trial Document Management Specialist from July 2010 to May 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Scientific Recruiter at Kelly Scientific Resources from July 2009 to May 2010. Ashley also has experience as a Regulatory Specialist at Dallas Allergy Immunology Research from July 2008 to July 2009 and as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist and Regional Regulatory Coordinator at The US Oncology Network from July 2007 to December 2007 and from December 2007 to July 2008, respectively.

Ashley Sawaf, CCRP holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Clinical Research Organization & Management from Drexel University College of Medicine, which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Genetics & Biotechnology at The University of Texas at Austin from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Certified Clinical Research Professional from the Society of Clinical Research Associates in September 2012.
