Patrick Hughes

Patrick Hughes is a seasoned legal and business professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as President of Excel Title Services since April 2010, Patrick leads the company in providing a full range of title insurance products across Kentucky and Ohio, while coordinating nationwide title services through a network of agents. As a Partner at Dressman Benzinger LaVelle psc since June 1997, Patrick focuses on government relations, regulatory matters, and commercial transactions. Previous leadership experience includes serving as Chief Deputy Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Kentucky from June 2011 to May 2012, overseeing the daily operations of the Office of the Attorney General. Earlier roles include Counsel for the Kentucky Finance & Administration Cabinet and a staff member in the offices of U.S. Senator Wendell Ford. Educational qualifications include a Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business.
