Rachel Kaney Weaver

Rachel Kaney Weaver currently serves as the Dean of Counseling and Wellness at Charles R. Drew Charter School, a position held since July 2022. Prior experience at the same institution includes roles as Dean of College and Career Readiness and School Counselor from June 2013 to June 2022. Rachel's earlier career includes serving as a Graduation Coach at Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy and as a Graduation Specialist with Communities in Schools of Atlanta. Rachel holds an Education Specialist's Degree in Professional School Counseling from the UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education, a Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Georgia, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from James Madison University.
