Melissa Hiler Fay

Melissa Hiler Fay has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Melissa began their career in the United States Navy, serving as a Lieutenant and Helicopter Pilot from 2000 to 2004. Melissa later transitioned to an academic role as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of California, Berkeley Naval ROTC from 2004 to 2008. Following their military service, Melissa joined Credit Suisse as an Equity Derivatives Trader from 2008 to 2011.

In 2012, Melissa joined GE Capital, where they held various positions in treasury and financial services. Melissa started as a Treasury Analyst for GE Capital Bank from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2016, they served as Director of Treasury in Energy Financial Services. Melissa was then promoted to Treasurer of Energy Financial Services from 2016 to 2018. Their final role at GE Capital was Director of Corporate Treasury, Cash & Liquidity Management from 2018 to 2020.

Most recently, Melissa joined Drexel Hamilton in 2020. Melissa started as Director of Debt Capital Markets from 2020 to 2022 and currently serves as the Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets.

Throughout their career, Melissa has acquired extensive experience in capital markets, debt capital markets, treasury management, and financial services.

Melissa Hiler Fay graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Melissa then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 2000. Additionally, Melissa Fay obtained an MBA in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2008. Outside of their formal education, Melissa holds certifications in Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 from FINRA.
