Abeed Ramji

Abeed Ramji is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in debt capital markets. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of Canadian Debt Capital Markets at TD Securities since October 2014, Abeed has held various key positions such as Head of Canadian Debt Syndicate and Director of Debt Syndicate. Prior experience includes roles at BMO Capital Markets, where Abeed was involved in debt syndication from May 2011 to September 2014, and earlier, as a Manager of Special Projects at the Aga Khan Agency for Microfinance, where Abeed developed financial models that significantly reduced delinquent loans. Abeed's foundational experience includes work in Debt Capital Markets at BMO Capital Markets, where Abeed contributed to innovative financial structures, including Canada's first hybrid bond issue for a non-bank financial institution. Abeed holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Great Distinction in Finance from McGill University.
