Michelle Tafel is a seasoned professional in organizational consulting and leadership development, currently serving as Principal of Organizational Consulting at DRG Talent since May 2022. Tafel previously held the role of Senior Vice President & Executive Director of City Year in Washington, DC, overseeing program and operational success for up to 180 AmeriCorps members and managing an annual budget of $8 million. Tafel's diverse experience includes a fellowship with The Equity Lab focused on advancing racial equity, participation in Leadership Greater Washington’s Class of 2019, and leadership roles at College Summit, where strategic fundraising and organizational innovation were key responsibilities. Tafel also has a strong foundation in youth leadership development and child protection advocacy, supported by an extensive educational background, including an MBA from Northwestern University and a BA in Literature from American University.
