Magnus Gordon

Magnus Gordon is the Senior Operations Manager at Drifter. Magnus was previously the Area Manager at Diamond Parking Service from July 2014 to April 2015. Magnus was directly responsible for the retail parking operation at Pacific Place Parking Garage and had dual responsibilities as property manager. Magnus scheduled, recruited, trained, and developed the team of 30 employees including Valets, Cashiers, Janitors, and Attendants in Diamond’s largest Union Facility. Magnus ensured employee compliance with all Diamond Parking policies, union agreements, and safety regulations . Magnus initiated the RFP and bid process for regular repairs and services within the garage. Magnus accomplished special projects for garage maintenance and improvements. Magnus maintained a World-Class garage appearance and service department. Magnus met regularly with clients and shopping center partnership. Magnus scaled and managed staffing and garage openings and pricing around events, holidays, and emergencies. Magnus recommended revenue growth strategies and cost reduction partnerships to the landlord (City of Seattle).

Magnus increased revenue by 9% through market analysis and price restructuring. Magnus also accomplished the implementation of several stagnant programs within months of hire for added efficiencies. These programs include: reprogramming till computers to improve security and function; improving vendor relationships to increase contractor communication and productivity; various improvements to garage to increase maintenance productivity; installing garage improvements to protect client’s revenue; increasing audit compliance region wide; instituting a till audit system for local cashiers to protect client’s revenue; halting roughly $1260 in monthly wage theft; developing a tracking system for maintenance and porters to decrease liability insurance and increase accountability.

Magnus Gordon has a Masters of Communications in Digital Media from the University of Washington, as well as a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business, Communications, Marketing, and Rhetoric from the same school. Magnus is also certified in Life and Disability Insurance.
