Laura Styrlund

Laura Styrlund is an accomplished professional with over 30 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as the Operational Discipline & Compliance Review Lead at Pfizer since June 2002. In this role, Laura develops and implements programs focused on site culture improvements to enhance safety and quality mindsets. Previous responsibilities at Pfizer include leading cross-functional teams to launch and transfer products, managing the commissioning and operational readiness of a new vaccine formulation facility, and providing technical support at the Catania, Italy site. Earlier experience at Enzyme Bio Systems encompassed managing site quality systems and implementing cost and quality improvements in fermentation processes. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University, earned in 1986.
