Amar Samarapally has a diverse work experience in various industries. Amar started their career at 3i Infotech as a Business Analyst, where they were responsible for conducting feasibility studies, performing gap analysis, and participating in pre-sales activities. Amar then joined Microfinance Information eXchange as a Financial Inclusion Lead, where they focused on inclusive finance and provided data resources for socially responsible investors. After that, Amar worked at Greenlight Planet as a Business Development Manager and later as a Business Development & Strategic Alliances Leader. Amar played a key role in designing, distributing, and financing solar home energy solutions for under-served populations. Currently, Amar is the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Drip Capital, where they are leveraging technology to enhance international trade finance infrastructure for small businesses.
Amar Samarapally completed their Masters degree in Finance from ICFAI Business School from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they obtained their B.Com degree in Commerce from Badruka College of Commerce from 2003 to 2006. Amar's earliest known educational experience was at ST. George's Grammar School from 1997 to 2001.
