Nick Solaro

Nick Solaro is a partner at Drive Capital, a venture capital firm based in Columbus, Ohio. Nick focuses on investments in technology and healthcare.

Nick has over 15 years of experience in the venture capital and startup industries. Nick began their career as an engineer, working on robotic technologies for Vecna Robotics and Path Robotics. Nick then transitioned into the business side of things, co-founding READY Robotics, a software platform for industrial robots.

After a few years in the startup world, Nick joined Drive Capital as a partner. Since then, they have helped the firm invest in over 100 companies, including Hologram Inc., Fast Radius, and ApplyBoard.

Nick Solaro's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from Columbia University and certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in Commercial Pilot; Instrument Rated; ASEL/AMEL. Nick also has certification from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Series 7, 63, 86, 87.
