Jia Xu

Jia Xu has an extensive work experience spanning over a decade. Their most recent role is as the Director of Product Design at DriveWealth, a position they started in 2022. Prior to that, Jia served as the Chief Executive Officer at Goodpoint from 2020 to 2022. Goodpoint focused on revolutionizing activism through technology, connecting activists, influencers, and communities to increase their impact on various social and political issues.

Before joining Goodpoint, Jia worked as the Director of UX at Datacubed Health from 2019 to 2020. In this role, they managed and oversaw the product team, led workshops to generate new concepts and product roadmaps, and helped reduce risks to deliver optimal results.

From 2014 to 2019, Jia worked at Prudential Financial. They held the positions of Director of UX/UI and User Research, where they built and managed the first UX research team and established usability testing practices across multiple Prudential Businesses. Jia also gained early experience as a UX Intern at Pitney Bowes in 2011, where they led a social media marketing project and conducted user research and testing. They also served as a Designer at the SPIRE Research Center at the University of Southern Denmark from 2009 to 2011 and as a Video Production Intern at the same university in 2010.
