Giovanni Villamar has extensive experience in the advertising industry, working with top agencies such as Droga5 and Anomaly. At Droga5, they served as the Executive Group Business Director, leading the agency's largest account, Chase. Giovanni also founded and led the agency's approach to 'multicultural marketing' called Intercultural Experience Transformation. During their time at Anomaly, where they were the Managing Director, the agency received several recognitions for their innovative work. Prior to that, they held positions at Dieste Inc., Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal and Partners, and The Vidal Partnership. In addition to their agency roles, Giovanni Villamar has also worked as an adjunct professor at Baruch College and as an associate professor at the New York Institute of Technology. Their experience spans over 19 years in the industry.
Giovanni Villamar has a diverse education history. In 1996, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from St. John's University. Giovanni further pursued their education at Emerson College from 2000 to 2001 and obtained a Master of Arts degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. Additionally, in 2001, they attended Harvard University and obtained a Certificate in Special Studies in Administration and Management. Recently, in 2020, they acquired a Professional Certificate in Digital Transformation from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
