Jose Luis Piera

Jose Luis Piera has a diverse work experience in various industries. Their most recent position was as a Composite Manufacturing Engineer R&D at DRONAMICS starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at X Shore | 100% Electric Boats from 2022 to 2023 where they were responsible for plug and molds manufacturing, overseeing CNC operations, and conducting metrology tests. Before that, they were the Head of Quality Assurance at SRG - Sinergia Racing Group from 2019 to 2022, where they managed mold measurements, implemented continuous improvement processes, and ensured quality assurance. Jose Luis also worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at SRG from 2017 to 2022, managing projects and tooling design, as well as being responsible for laser tracker measurements. Additionally, they had internship experience as an Ingeniero en prácticas at mecanizados JJ Celdran in 2017 and worked as a Bombero at Consorcio Extincion Incendios y Salvamento Murcia in 2016.

Jose Luis Piera completed their bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena in 2018. In 2017, they also studied Design and Computer-Aided Drawing for Mechanical Engineering at the same university. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, they obtained a certification as a Technician in Emergencies and Civil Protection from CIFP Hesperides. In November 2020, they obtained a certification in Organization and Control of Non-Destructive Testing, specifically in Ultrasonics, from the Centro de Referencia Nacional Química de Cartagena.
