Kal Petrov

Kal Petrov has worked in the logistics and shipping industry since 2007. Kal started as a Documentation Clerk at Panalpina, where they then held several roles, such as Traffic Controller/ACI Control Tower, Key Account Customer Service Agent/ACI Control Tower, and Ocean Services Center LCL Supervisor. In 2011, they were promoted to Business Implementation Manager/Managed Solutions Champion, where they were responsible for initiating and coordinating the implementation of Global key accounts. In 2018, they joined Kuehne + Nagel as National Manager, Seafreight LCL. Most recently, in 2022, they were appointed Director New Market Development at DRONAMICS.

Kal Petrov obtained a High School Diploma from Rocky Mountain High School, Fort Collins, Colorado in 2006. Kal then went on to complete a Business Administration and Management Diploma from Sheridan College in 2010. In 2013, Kal obtained an Advanced Certificate in International Freight Forwarding from the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA). In 2014, they obtained a FIATA Diploma in Freight Forwarding from the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Association (FIATA) and a Certificate in Lean Six Sigma from the University of Toronto in 2017.
