Tony Burton, IIDA, RID

Tony Burton has over 30 years of experience in project management and planning in the healthcare and construction industries. Tony is currently the Director of New Market Development at Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine. In their previous role as Senior Project Manager at City of Hope, they oversaw a major medical construction project with a budget exceeding $385 million. Tony also led architectural selection and user group meetings during the Covid-19 lockdown. Prior to that, Burton worked as a Planner for Healthcare Facilities at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, where they refined architectural plans and master plans for space allocation. Earlier in their career, they served as Lead Medical Planner in the United States Air Force, where they drafted policies for medical facility outfitting and transition. Burton also has experience as an independent project management consultant and held the position of Senior Vice President at Gene Burton & Associates.

Tony Burton, IIDA, RID holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from Belmont University. Tony is a Professional Member of the International Interior Design Association, and is also a Registered Interior Designer in the State of Tennessee.
