Thomas Davis

Thomas Davis is currently the CEO at Drone For Hire. From August 1991 to July 2007, they worked as a programmer analyst III at the University of California, San Francisco. In this role, they developed algorithms for the quantitative analysis of case-control, cross-sectional and longitudinal survey data using SAS/MACRO/ETS/BASE/STAT/GRAPH, R, PHP, C++. Thomas also designed and implemented a secure intranet website, on Mac OS.X server; providing video streaming, OLAP, and data transfer utilities via an Apache web server for 250 hospitals throughout California. In addition, they architected, implemented and maintained, adhering to HIPAA guidelines, a secure MySQL/SSL server cluster using FreeBSD/UNIX OS which warehouses confidential patient medical information used for behavioral and clinical scientific research.

From July 2007 to June 2008, they worked as a statistician at the University of California, San Francisco. From July 2006 to September 2007, they worked as a .NET developer at MVE. From January 2012 to January 2013, they worked as a developer at Hewlett-Packard.

Thomas Davis studied physics at San Francisco State University and then anthropology/statistics at San Diego State University.
