Britni Edwards

Britni Edwards has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to the present. In 2011, they worked as an Operations Manager for The Bakari Project, where they set up and coordinated schedules with project participants, coordinated community service opportunities, and answered phones. Later that year, they were a Production Assistant for Lisa Leonard Designs, where they were an integral member of the small business operation and was part of one of four teams involved in product creation from start to finish. In 2012, they were an Executive Assistant for Vernanne Cohen LMFT, where they coordinated, scheduled, and arranged meeting and travel schedules, including business and social events, developed and maintained appropriate filing of personal and professional documentation, and completed data entry and maintained the applicant/client tracking system. In 2013, they were the President and Creative Director for Edwards Aerial, where they developed and pitched a plan for an innovative aerial filming business, secured $30,000 in angel funding, analyzed industry trends and compiled market research data to inform planning and strategy, and produced engaging video content for the high-end real estate market. From 2014 to 2017, they were at GoPro, where they held the roles of Producer - Product Education | VR, Associate Producer - Product Education | VR, and Product Marketing Assistant. In their Producer role, they managed the GoPro Tutorials YouTube channel, collaborated with cross-functional teams to establish creative goals and scheduling of product launch content, managed production milestones from concept through delivery, cultivated and maintained relationships with key vendors, managed licensing and clearances for productions, managed a ~2 million-dollar production budget, managed a brand partnership agreement and executed on all deliverables, accumulated 10M views within a year, was responsible for localization of educational content, and targeted consumers with product videos, accumulating over 30M views on YouTube. Finally, in 2017, they became President and Business Operations at Drop Water.

Britni Edwards attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. Britni is currently enrolled at Cañada College, where they are expected to earn a Certificate in Interior Design in 2022.
