Daniel Wagner is an experienced engineer with a strong background in software development and mobile technology. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Dropbox since February 2014, Daniel has held various roles including Staff Engineer and Engineer. Prior to Dropbox, Daniel was the Technical Co-Founder at Loom from 2011 to February 2014 and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Cambridge focusing on mobile device research and development. Previous experience includes research roles at Technische Universität Darmstadt and network administration for a student dormitory. Daniel's early career includes software development at Gameforge AG for online gaming. Daniel holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and multiple degrees in Human-Computer Interaction and Computer Science from respected institutions including Carnegie Mellon University and Universidade da Madeira.
