Monal Chokshi

Monal Chokshi serves as the Senior Director and Head of Research & Insights at Dropbox since 2020, with concurrent roles as a Board Advisor at OOTify and a Mentor at Nex Cubed. Monal has extensive experience in user experience research, having founded the UX Research discipline at Lyft and managed a growing team of over 30 researchers. Previous positions include Head of Design Research at SoundCloud, where strategic UX research informed product decisions, and Senior Manager at Intuit, leading user experience initiatives that significantly improved customer support metrics. Monal's career also includes roles at Yahoo!, The Active Network, Xerox Corporation, and Vignette Corporation, showcasing a strong background in user-centered design and research methodologies. Monal holds a B.S. in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University and an M.S. in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego.
