Xugang Ye

Xugang Ye is a highly experienced professional in machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Staff ML Lead at Dropbox since November 2018, focusing on search, suggestion, and recommendation in cloud file systems. Prior to this, Xugang held roles at Zillow as Principal Scientist and Engineering Lead in Search, where contributions were made to machine learning applications in real estate, and at Apple as Principal Data Scientist, enhancing customer support through search and ranking improvements. Xugang began a career at Microsoft as Senior Scientist, conducting research and development on search and recommendation technologies, and contributed to a significant advancement in deep structured similarity models. Academic foundations include a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from The Johns Hopkins University, complemented by master's degrees in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Management Sciences.
