Shanaka kuruwita

Shanaka Kuruwita has worked in the software engineering field since 2010. Shanaka'sfirst role was as a Trainee Software Engineer at IronOne Technologies LLC, starting in 2010. Shanaka then moved to CodeGen International in 2012, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer until 2016. At that point, they were promoted to Associate Technical Team Lead and then Technical Team Lead. Most recently, they have been a Senior Software Engineer at Dropsuite since 2019.

Shanaka Kuruwita obtained their Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo between 2015 and 2017. Shanaka obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) - BE in Computer Science from the University of Moratuwa between 2008 and 2012. Shanaka attended De Mazenod College, Kandana, Sri Lanka from 1994 to 2007. Shanaka also holds certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Oracle, including an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (obtained in November 2022) and Oracle Certified Professional, Java EE 5 Web Component Developer and Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer.
