Teresa Fetter

Teresa Fetter has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Teresa started their career in 1997 as an Intermediate Accountant at Canada 3000 Airlines. Teresa then worked at Bell Canada as a Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager, leading a team and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Later, at BMW Group Financial Services Canada, Teresa held the role of Assistant Controller and Planning & Reporting Manager, where they were responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Teresa also worked at the Regional Municipality of Durham as a Supervisor, Expenditure Management, where they controlled and managed accounts payable processes and developed financial policies. Currently, Teresa holds a Director - Business Services position at DRPS- Durham Regional Police Service, providing strategic support and overseeing various operational areas.

Teresa Fetter has a diverse education history. Teresa completed a 4-year Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Labour Management Relations from the University of Toronto - University College in 1993. Following that, they pursued a CGA (Certified General Accountant) degree from the Certified General Accountants Association of Ontario, graduating in 2002. In 2006, Teresa earned a Certificate of Achievement from Queen's University in the BMW Group Canada 2006 Leadership Series. Continuing to expand their knowledge in accounting and finance, they obtained the CPA, CGA designation from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario in 2014. Currently, they are enrolled in the Executive MBA program at the University of Fredericton, specializing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services, with an expected completion year of 2022.
