Vidal Chavannes, Ed.D has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Currently, they work as an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Social Science and Humanities at Ontario Tech University. In 2019, they held multiple roles including Director of Strategy, Research, and Organizational Performance at Durham Regional Police Service and Associate Member at Ryerson University's Yeates School of Graduate Studies. Vidal also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. Prior to these positions, Vidal Chavannes was the Senior Consultant and Managing Director at ReSolve Research Solutions, Inc., where they provided research and management consultancy services in the fields of healthcare, education, and business development.
Vidal Chavannes, Ed.D, attended the University of Calgary from 2011 to 2013, where they received their Ed.D. degree in Higher Education Leadership. Vidal had previously studied at York University from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a B.Ed degree. At York University, they also earned a B.A. (Honours) degree in History and English.
