Kellen Russoniello

Kellen Russoniello possesses extensive experience in public health and drug policy advocacy. Currently serving as Director of Public Health at the Drug Policy Alliance since January 2020, Kellen has progressed from roles as Senior Policy Counsel and Senior Staff Attorney within the organization. Prior professional experience includes serving as a Staff Attorney for Expungement at Community Legal Aid SoCal and as a Staff Attorney focusing on Health and Drug Policy at the ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties. Kellen's earlier positions include leadership roles with Students for Sensible Drug Policy and internships with various organizations, including NORML and the ACLU of Washington. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and a Doctor of Law from The George Washington University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from Eastern Washington University.
