Michelle Childs

Michelle Childs is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy advocacy and consulting. Currently serving as the Director of Policy Advocacy at the Drugs for Neglected Diseases Initiative (DNDi) since February 2016, Michelle previously worked as an independent consultant from May 2013 to February 2016. Prior experience includes the role of Director of Policy Advocacy at Médecins Sans Frontières from January 2009 to March 2013, and as a Legal and Policy Advisor for the Médecins Sans Frontières Campaign for Access to Essential Medicines for a brief period in 2008. Additionally, Michelle held the position of Head of European Affairs at Knowledge Ecology International from December 2003 to September 2008, focusing on intellectual property policy related to healthcare. Earlier in the career, Michelle was the Head of Policy Research and Analysis at Which? from 1999 to 2003.
