Rachel Cohen

Rachel Cohen serves as a Senior Advisor at the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) since January 2011, where responsibilities include leading research and analysis on global health innovation and access to medicines. In addition, Rachel is the Regional Executive Director for DNDi North America, overseeing strategic direction and relationships with various US and Canadian entities. Previous roles include Senior Advisor & Head of Mission for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in South Africa & Lesotho, where leadership included developing significant health initiatives, and extensive experience within MSF focused on advocacy and operational policy for access to essential medicines. Rachel holds a Master of Public Policy from Princeton University and a Bachelor’s degree from Bates College.
