Jacob Sons

Jacob Sons has a diverse work experience. Jacob currently works as an Event Operations Manager at Drum Corps International since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in various roles. From August 2021 to December 2021, they were a Wellness Support Planning Coordinator. Jacob also served as a Lead WSA Zone Supervisor and a WSA Zone Supervisor, managing and supervising buildings and COVID-19 Wellness Support Associates. Additionally, they worked as a Properties Office Manager, Head of Undergraduate Staff and Operations, Event Management Student Staff, Stage Hand, Campus Ambassador, and Streaming Media Operator during their time at the University. Before joining the University, Jacob had a Summer Operations Intern role at Lincoln-Way Community High School, where they coordinated facility cleaning, updates, and prepared for incoming students.

Jacob Sons received their Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Jacob completed their undergraduate studies from 2016 to 2020. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism from the same university, which they completed from 2020 to 2021.
