Aaron Saunders is the CEO of Drumfire Public Affairs, where Aaron is involved in direct advocacy and ally mobilization. Prior to this, Aaron was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Dezenhall Resources, managing day-to-day operations for a team of 15. Aaron also served as the Communications Director for Senator Mary Landrieu and Senator Ted Stevens, where Aaron designed and implemented communication outreach plans. Aaron holds a Master's degree in Political Communication from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and American Studies from Miami University.

Drumfire Public Affairs was founded on the simple premise that a firm that excels at strategy and counsel should also be able to roll up its sleeves and deliver smart, hard-hitting results – swiftly, repeatedly, and without costing a large fortune. “Integrated public affairs” programs have been talked about since the 1980s. But, really, four decades later, how often are they actually implemented? The reality is communications, lobbying, coalition building, et. al. too often remain stove-piped and barely connected. At Drumfire Public Affairs, our mission, our passion is to scale integrated public affairs to meet the need or challenge of virtually any company, trade group or non-profit – large or small – to promote an issue, defend a brand, or otherwise win in Washington. And, importantly, we not working from a playbook from the 1990s. We have the current contacts, cutting-edge tools, and relevant experience to enable our clients to succeed in a policy marketplace that is ever-changing and ruthlessly competitive.
