Beth Harville

EVP & Provost at Drury University

Dr. Beth Harville earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Southwest Missouri State University and a doctorate in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While at Drury, Dr. Harville has taught biology and chemistry, developed an undergraduate research program focusing on bacterial pathogens, served as Director of Pre-Health Sciences and Dean of the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences (CNMS). As Pre-Health Director, Dr. Harville was involved in developing partnerships with Jordan Valley Community Health Center and Ferrell-Duncan Clinic to enhance learning experiences for pre-health sciences students. During her time as CNMS Dean the college developed and implemented six new majors, one minor, and a dual degree nursing program with Cox College of Nursing and Health Sciences. The college also initiated a strategic recruiting strategy that partnered faculty with local high school science and math teachers.
