Matt Tyrer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in competitive intelligence and marketing within the technology sector. As the Founder and Chief Analyst of The Competitive Corner since August 2023, Matt has established a consultancy focused on providing market and competitive intelligence to support business decision-making. Concurrently, as an Advisor to Klue, Matt contributes to the development of their Competitive Enablement Platform. Membership in SCIP highlights Matt's commitment to ethical competitive intelligence practices. Previously, Matt led the Competitive Intelligence Program at Commvault for over 15 years, establishing a formal CI initiative and collaborating across various departments to enhance the company's market position. With a solid foundation in technology and business developed through roles at EMC, PartyGaming, and Nortel Networks, Matt holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa.
