Zeyu Mao

Zeyu Mao is a Quantitative Trading Analyst at DRW since October 2022, with extensive academic and professional experience in engineering and research. Prior to this role, Zeyu served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from August 2017 to October 2022, after completing a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Zeyu's internship experiences include developing a comprehensive edge-based non-intrusive load monitoring solution at GEIRI North America and creating an interactive dashboard for an energy management system. Zeyu also contributed to the Texas Power and Energy Conference as a Committee Member and engaged in research on low carbon markets during a stint at The Carbon Trust. Zeyu holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University.
