Bret Piatt is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the technology and private equity sectors. Currently serving as a Partner at Dry Line Partners, Bret focuses on middle-market B2B software investments and has successfully led significant acquisitions, including VizExplorer and the consolidation of CyberFortress. As Chair of the Board of Directors for Modern Managed IT, Bret helps drive transformative solutions for small businesses. Co-founder and Partner at Porthcawl Holdings, Bret has been instrumental in several startups and acquisitions, including the sale of Jungle Disk to Dry Line Partners. Previous roles include President and CEO of CyberFortress, General Manager at Rackspace, and Associate Director at AT&T, showcasing a strong background in SaaS, cybersecurity, and corporate strategy. Bret holds an Executive Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from Quantic School of Business and Technology and a degree from California State University, Chico.
