Cherian Mathew

Cherian Mathew is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software development, cloud platforms, and team management. Currently serving as Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Rootd.Earth, Cherian is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-based interaction solutions. As Co-founder and Cloud Platform Lead at Dryad Networks, Cherian leads the development of the Dryad Silvanet Cloud Platform, focusing on backend systems and cloud deployment. Previous roles include Technical Lead at the Norwegian Refugee Council, where Cherian contributed to data-driven digital transformation, and positions at TeachSurfing, brewlabs SAS, and the Botanic Garden and Botanical Museum Berlin-Dahlem, demonstrating a strong background in software engineering and DevOps practices. Cherian holds a Master's degree in Scientific Visualization from the University of Groningen, a Master's in Applied Statistics and Informatics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics from St. Xavier's College.
