Lars Brinkmann

Lars Brinkmann has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Lars is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at DS Destination Solutions, an HRS GROUP company, since July 2021. Before that, they worked as a Venture Partner at Superlyst Ventures, starting in October 2020. Lars has also founded and held the position of Founder at WebTac GmbH since 1999.

In 2017, Lars joined Jochen Schweizer mydays Holding GmbH as the Managing Director, a position they held until July 2021. Prior to that, they served as the CTO at mydays GmbH from January 2013 to October 2017. Lars also worked as the Head of IT at mydays GmbH, where they had responsibilities for software development, system engineering, and hosting of their websites and shops, from February 2007 to December 2012.

Lars has co-founded companies as well. Lars was a Co-Founder at trillr.com (kickass networx GmbH) from an unspecified date until 2017. Additionally, they co-founded VOIEX Networks International, Inc. from an unspecified date until 2008.

Before venturing into the startup and corporate world, Lars worked as a Managing Software Engineer at myobis GmbH from January 2010 to March 2011. Their role involved the founding, planning, and development of a new appointment booking platform for event organizers, along with managing the software development team and platform operations.

Lars began their career as a Student Research Assistant at the European Research Center for Information Systems from an unspecified date until 2004. Lars then worked as a Scientific Assistant at Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster, focusing on research in medical informatics, secure transmission of patient and health data, and the development of secure internet platforms for distributed research from an unspecified date until 2007.

Lars Brinkmann completed their Master of Science in Information Systems (IS) with a specialty in Wirtschaftsinformatik from the University of Münster from 1997 to 2004. Between 2014 and 2016, they attended the Boston Business School, where they pursued the Bosten EMBA-Programm in General Management. Lars is currently enrolled at Harvard University, focusing on Data Science and Machine Learning, as of 2019.
