Ioannis Saltos

Ioannis (Giannis) Saltos has extensive experience in the maritime and shipping industry, currently serving as a Senior Operations Manager at DS NORDEN since May 2017, focusing on voyage execution and cost optimization for the Norden Tanker Pool. Prior experience includes roles at TORM, where responsibilities ranged from Operations Assistant to Demurrage Manager, handling various voyage stages and charter-party claims in the tanker division. Giannis also worked as a Claims Manager at Trafigura, addressing claims in the Americas region, and began a career in maritime operations during an internship at Teo Shipping Corporation. Giannis holds a Master of Science in International Transport from Cardiff University and a Bachelor of Science in Maritime Studies from the University of Piraeus, alongside participation in the International Public Executive Program at Copenhagen Business School.
