Diogo Mendonça Tavares

Diogo Mendonça Tavares has had a diverse work experience. From 2009-2017, they co-founded and worked on multiple start-up ventures, focusing on project management, strategy definition, finance management, and business development. In 2012, they worked as an MBA intern at Endesa, analyzing electricity demand trends and developing forecasting models. In 2013, they became an independent business development consultant, creating a business plan and strategic recommendations for CODIPA, a food production enterprise in Congo-Brazzaville. In 2013, they also joined DS Smith as the Head of Commercial Operations Iberia, leading sales, marketing, and innovation efforts. Diogo later took on roles such as Head of Ecommerce Iberia and Sales Director. Throughout their career, Diogo has demonstrated strategic thinking, leadership, and expertise in various sectors.

Diogo Mendonça Tavares earned a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico in the years 2004 to 2009. Diogo later pursued an MBA at Columbia University from 2011 to 2013.
