Duncan Maxwell Miet

Duncan Maxwell MIET is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the manufacturing and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Divisional Engineering & Maintenance Technical Lead at DS Smith since October 2023, Duncan previously held the position of Group Engineering Manager at Scott Pallets from February 2021 to November 2023. Prior to that, Duncan was the Engineering Manager at Smurfit Kappa from August 2016 to February 2021, and worked at PEME from 2007 to July 2016 in roles including Operations Manager - Reliability and Contract Manager. Earlier in his career, Duncan served as Maintenance Manager and Project Engineer at Roquette from 2001 to 2007, and as Process Engineer at Saint-Gobain from 1998 to 2001. Duncan earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nottingham Trent University between 1996 and 2000.
