Thomas Freitag

After an apprenticeship as a bookbinder, Thomas dedicated himself to haptic communication around paper. After his basic training as a bookbinder, a working stay in the USA and various training stages and jobs followed before he joined Bubu in 1997. At that time, Bubu is a pure bookbindery, working for printers in Switzerland and abroad.His passion is paper and creative book projects of all kinds. So it is only natural that Bubu should start photo book production in Switzerland in 2004 as a photo book pioneer and at the same time make the move into digital printing with HP Indigo. Since 2005, Freitag has been responsible for the management of the family-run Bubu AG together with Christian Burkhardt.
