Gabriel Ruiz

Gabriel Ruiz has extensive work experience in software engineering, web and mobile application development, and teaching. Gabriel has worked for various companies, including DSD Partners, Uber, Cornershop, Tech-K, Destacame SpA, Beelook, Vivahya, Skyvortex Solutions, and UTFSM. Gabriel's roles have included Lead Backend Engineer, Software Engineer, Risk & Payments Tech Leader, Tech Lead, Senior Web Application Developer, CTO, Mobile Application Developer, Web Developer, Co-founder, and Teacher Assistant. Gabriel has experience using Python, Django, Objective C, AWS, JS, MySQL, and jQuery. Gabriel has also worked on apps with a focus on helping people with sight impairments and organizing wedding ceremonies.

Gabriel Ruiz received an Engineer's degree in Civil Engineering in Computer Science from Universidad Técnica Federico Santa María, which they attended from 2008 to 2013. In August 2017, they also obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon, in partnership with Alpine Testing Solutions.
