Chris Carvey

Chris Carvey is an experienced professional in library sciences, user experience design, and digital technology. Currently serving as Co-Chair of the Flexible E-Content API Framework For Libraries Working Group at the National Information Standards Organization, Chris leads efforts to enhance technical interoperability in the library sector. As Director of Interactive Customer Experience at Queens Library, Chris focuses on redefining library services to support community success. Chris has a diverse background that includes founding DSGNR Unlimited, a design and development company, and holding various roles in UI/UX design and technology management across prominent organizations such as MLB Advanced Media and the American Library Association. Chris holds multiple certifications in user experience and agile methodologies, along with a BA in Advertising and Graphic Design from the School of Visual Arts.
