Tsanko Bonev

Tsanko Bonev started their work experience in 2004 as an Information Systems Security Team Manager at First Investment Bank. Tsanko then moved on to become the Head of Information Security Department at MKB Unionbank from 2010 to 2014. After that, they became the Information Systems Security Team Manager again at First Investment Bank for a brief period in 2014. Finally, they joined DSK Bank as the Director Infrastructure Security and Communications, a position they currently hold.

Tsanko Bonev started their education in 1994 at the Technology School Electronic Systems (TUES), associated with Technical University-Sofia. Tsanko obtained a Specialist degree in Computer Science from there, completing their studies in 1999. Tsanko then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems and Technology at the Technical University of Sofia from 1999 to 2004.

To further their knowledge, Tsanko pursued a Master's degree in Information Security from 2005 to 2012 at New Bulgarian University.

In addition to their formal education, Tsanko Bonev has obtained various certifications. These include certifications such as CPTS from Mile2, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Cisco, Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP-S) from Cisco, Cisco VPN Security Specialist from Cisco, ITIL Foundation Level from HP, and Microsoft Excel 2013 Certification from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers. The specific months and years they obtained these certifications are not provided.
