Chandrima Mitra

Chandrima Mitra is a seasoned legal professional with over twenty years of experience in the media and entertainment industry in India, specializing in content development, production, marketing, monetization, and syndication across various formats including films, series, audio, music, books, stage plays, and art. Currently a Partner at DSK Legal since August 2013, Chandrima has contributed to acclaimed films such as The Last Film Show, Laapataa Ladies, and Dangal, which have been recognized as official entries to the Academy Awards. Prior to this role, Chandrima held significant positions including Associate Partner at Disney India and Counsel at UTV Motion Pictures, leading legal efforts for notable studio projects. Chandrima began the legal career at Naik Naik & Co. and Nishith Desai Associates, after completing a BSL LLB degree from ILS Law College, Pune in 2005.
