Ajay Kumar

Ajay Kumar is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and strategic sourcing across multiple industries. Currently serving as the Global Category Manager for Industrial Gases and Project Procurement at dsm-firmenich, Ajay oversees a substantial budget of €40–50 million, focusing on the formulation and execution of procurement strategies in the IMEA region. Prior roles include Lead Buyer for the APAC region and Capital Projects Procurement at DSM, where Ajay led diverse teams and managed significant capital projects. Earlier experience includes positions at Centrient Pharmaceuticals, Spray Engineering Devices Limited, and Eastman Cast & Forge Ltd., each contributing to a strong foundation in engineering purchases and project procurement. Ajay holds an MBA in International Business from Panjab University and is pursuing a Global Master Certificate in Integrated Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University.
