Gaston Besanson

Gaston Besanson is an accomplished leader in data science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as SVP and Head of Data + AI at dsm-firmenich since June 2025. Previously, Besanson held the position of VP, Global Data Science and Advanced Analytics at PepsiCo, where oversight of a global team of over 300 data science professionals took place. Significant roles at Accenture include Global Data Science Lead for Applied Intelligence and Senior Data Scientist. Besanson also contributed to academia as an area director at the BSE Data Science Center and lecturer across various programs at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Besanson holds multiple degrees, including a Master's in Data Science and an L.L.M in Law and Economics, from prestigious institutions.
