Grace Baaklini

Grace Baaklini is an experienced professional in the field of solid technology and physical chemistry, currently serving as the Head of Solid Technology Laboratory at dsm-firmenich since May 2023. Prior to this role, Grace worked as a Scientist in Solid Technology at DSM from June 2019 to April 2023, focusing on industrial crystallization projects and laboratory-scale experiments. Additional experience includes a position as a Materials Scientist at GXP CONSULTING Switzerland, optimizing drug precipitation processes, and a postdoctoral fellowship at Université de Rouen, where collaboration with pharmaceutical industries involved studies on hydration, salt formation, and process optimization. Grace completed a PhD in Physical Chemistry at Université de Rouen, investigating the impacts of spray drying on the polymorphism of pharmaceutical compounds. Early academic experience includes a masters trainee position at ENSICAEN, where synthesis of micro-mesoporous materials for environmental applications was conducted.
