Katharina Stenholm has a diverse and extensive work experience in sustainability and leadership roles. Katharina is currently serving as the Chief Sustainability Officer at dsm-firmenich. Before that, they founded and worked as an Executive Coach at R2 Responsible & Resilient Business & Leadership. Katharina also held positions at WBCSD as a Council Member and Member of the Food and Nature Board. Katharina worked at PepsiCo as the SVP Chief Sustainability Officer, Europe, and at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Advisor. Katharina served as the Chairman of the Board at FONDS DANONE POUR L'ECOSYSTEME and had multiple roles at Danone, including SVP, Chief Cycles and Procurement Officer, and Managing Director of Dantrade B.V. Katharina was also a Board Member at Livelihoods Venture - Livelihoods Fund for Family Farming. Earlier in their career, they held executive positions at SABMiller, including CEO SABMiller Procurement GmbH, Global Chief Procurement Officer, and VP roles in business transformation and brewing raw materials. Katharina also served as the Chairman of the Board at Viking Malt.

Katharina Stenholm attended Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Master of Science in Technology degree in the field of Biotechnology & Applied Biochemistry. Katharina then pursued further education at the same institution from 1993 to 1997 and obtained a Doctor of Technology degree in Biotechnology. In 2017, they briefly attended INSEAD and completed their IDP-C program in Corporate Governance.
