Petr Tengler

Petr Tengler has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Petr started their career as a Systems Analyst and Developer at infosource SA in Switzerland from 1998 to 2001. Following this, they worked as an Associate Scientist at the Swiss Agency for the Environment, Forests, and Landscape from February to September 2001. Petr then joined Firmenich in 2001 and took on various roles within the Information Systems (IS) department, including Business Systems Analyst/Developer, IS Technical Stream Lead, IS Manager for Creation and Product Development Solution, and IS Project Director. Their most recent role at Firmenich was as the IS Director for Creation and Product Development, which they held from April 2018 until the present. Additionally, Petr worked at dsm-firmenich as the Cluster Lead for Product, Creation, and Labs starting from November 2023. Overall, Petr Tengler has gained extensive experience and expertise in information systems and product development throughout their career.

Petr Tengler obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Science from ETH Zürich in 1995. Petr also completed a Postgraduate Degree in Geographical Information Systems at ETH Zürich in 1998. Additionally, they received certifications in Agile SCRUM Product Owner from Scrum.org in 2020, and in THINK1 - SAP Design Thinking for Business Innovation and Team Management & Leadership from the Firmenich Training Center in 2012 and 2008 respectively. Petr is currently pursuing a degree in Digital Transformation: Leading People, Data & Technology from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, expected to be completed in 2023. Petr has also obtained certifications in Digital Transformation from Emeritus and ITIL Foundation v3 from APMG-International in 2023 and 2013 respectively.
