Sophie Go has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Sophie started their career as a Mandarin Tutor at Mandarin with MeiMei, where they personalized the curriculum for young students learning Mandarin. Sophie then worked as a Teaching Assistant at New Sprouts Chinese School, where they taught Mandarin and Chinese culture to children aged 3-10, and also served as a Camp Coordinator, overseeing organizational needs and planning camp activities.

In 2017, Sophie interned as a Product Development Intern at Nestlé, conducting kitchen and pilot plant trials to develop new ice cream products and processing technologies. Sophie successfully took a product from project brief to launch through quick prototyping and novel experiment documentation approaches.

Sophie continued their career at Nestlé after their internship, working as an Associate Product Development Specialist from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they contributed to the development of new products and played a key role in the product innovation process.

In 2018, Sophie had an internship as a Product Innovation Intern at Annie's Inc., where they developed snacks promoting regenerative agricultural practices and established a benchtop lab procedure to speed up prototype development.

From 2021 to 2022, Sophie worked as an R&D Product Technology Specialist at Lindt & Sprüngli (USA) Inc., where they gained expertise in product technology and contributed to the research and development process.

Currently, Sophie is serving as a Product Development Lead (Dairy/Plant-Based) at dsm-firmenich, where their responsibilities include supporting customers with finished product designs, leading working sessions, and utilizing UHT/HTST processing for prototype production.

Sophie's work experience demonstrates their knowledge and skills in product development, innovation, and project management, particularly in the food industry.

Sophie Go earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from UCLA between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a high school diploma from The Bay School of San Francisco between 2011 and 2015.
