Caroline Walsh

Director, Language Acquisition at DSST Public Schools

Caroline Walsh is an experienced educator currently serving as the Director of Multilingual Education at DSST Public Schools, a position held since June 2019. Prior to this role, Caroline held various positions within the organization, including Senior Manager of Multilingual Education and Senior Manager of Language Acquisition. Caroline's earlier experience includes roles as a Literacy Coach and Intervention Coordinator at Kipp Denver Collegiate High School and as a Research Assistant and Teaching Fellow at Harvard Family Research Project/Harvard Graduate School of Education. Caroline's teaching experience also encompasses leadership roles at Venture Prep Middle School as a Leadership Team Member and 8th Grade Humanities Teacher, alongside earlier roles as a Language Arts Teacher and Literacy Intervention Specialist. Caroline earned a Master of Education in Language & Literacy Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Politics, and International Studies from Oberlin College.
